2-day price + extra-day price × (number of days − 2). Example: an adult standard set for 3 days is ¥7,000 + ¥3,000 = ¥10,000.

From arrival to your return
For a 9:00 lesson, arrive by 8:00. BOO SPORTS opens at 7:00.

Use the booking page to select your preferred date, equipment, and sizes.
Arrive at least 1 hour before your lesson
Arrive at BOO SPORTS at least one hour before your lesson starts. Pay, check your sizes, and collect your equipment. You can change in the basement of the shop.
Travel to the ski resort
Take the shuttle to the ski resort and meet your instructor at the designated meeting point. Before leaving the shop, confirm the meeting point and how to arrange your return shuttle.
Contact BOO SPORTS for your return shuttle
Contact BOO SPORTS to arrange your return shuttle. Allow time for the journey and return equipment by 17:00. For night skiing, follow the separate arrangements in the FAQ.
Return equipment, then travel to your hotel or station
Return all rental items and present your receipt. After returning your equipment, shuttle service to your hotel or the station is also available. Confirm your destination and timing with BOO SPORTS in advance.

Can I use the equipment for night skiing?
Please request night skiing when renting. An additional ¥2,000 per person applies. Return equipment only to the Yuzawa shop. No night shuttle is available; the shuttle service ends at 17:00.
What if I return late?
Please contact the shop by 17:00. A ¥1,500 fee applies if you do not notify the shop in advance.
Which station should I use for GALA Yuzawa?
We recommend getting off at Echigo-Yuzawa Station for a smoother process. Lockers may be full on holidays and other busy days. In that case, get off at GALA Yuzawa Station, change into your ski wear, and contact BOO SPORTS to arrange luggage storage.
Can I rent without a reservation?
Yes. However, advance booking is recommended for a smoother experience.
Can I book by phone?
Phone reservations are not accepted. Please book through the website by the previous day.
How far in advance can I book?
Bookings are accepted up to six months ahead. Availability is released gradually. If your preferred date is not shown, please check again later or contact the shop.
Can I come the day before for a fitting?
Fittings on the previous day are not available. Please visit on your rental day.
When do I pay? Can I use a credit card?
Pay at the shop. Credit cards, cash, and PayPay are accepted.
Are half-day or hourly rentals available? Is an afternoon rental charged for a full day?
Half-day and hourly rentals are not available. Afternoon rentals are charged at the full-day rate.
Can I choose the flex of my snowboard?
Flex cannot be selected for standard boards. It can only be selected for high-grade boards with a flex label.
Do I need to return equipment daily for a multi-day rental?
No daily return is required during your rental period. The shop can also store rental boards and boots. Please keep small items such as goggles, gloves, and helmets with you.
Can binding angles be adjusted?
Yes, binding angles can be adjusted to your preference.
Can I rent in April?
Depending on the weather, rentals are available while the ski resorts remain open.
Can I fit my own bindings to a rental board?
It depends on the binding type. Please bring them to the shop for a compatibility check. Step On bindings are not supported.
Can I buy lift tickets without renting equipment?
Lift tickets are only available to customers with a reservation for a ski or snowboard set rental.
Can I reserve lift tickets in advance?
Lift tickets are sold on site only, with payment in cash.
Can lift tickets sell out?
Yes, tickets may sell out during busy periods.
Does the free shuttle run on a fixed timetable?
No. When you reach the pickup location, contact the Yuzawa shop or the official BOO SPORTS account. Waiting times may occur during busy periods.
Who can use the free shuttle service?
The service is available to customers renting at least two adult equipment sets, or spending at least ¥7,000 per person.
Can you collect the equipment?
Yes, within the free shuttle service area. Please present your receipt when returning the equipment.
Can I store my luggage?
Locker use costs ¥500 for luggage up to 20 inches. Larger luggage costs ¥1,000 per item.
Can I change my ski resort on the day?
Yes, you can change your destination before departure.
